Guilin power capacitor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guirong company"), formerly known as Guilin Power Capacitor General Factory, was founded in 1967, is an enterprise directly under the former Ministry of machinery, a national second level enterprise, and one of the 500 large power machinery and equipment manufacturing enterprises in the country. The Tieshan Industrial Park plant area invested by Guirong company in 2007 is the largest and most advanced capacitor production base in the world. In 2017, the wholly-owned subsidiary Guilin Zhiyuan Power Electronics Co., Ltd. was established. In 2018, the dry capacitor production base was built, and in 2022, the sheet metal production line was invested. Guirong company is a national technology innovation demonstration enterprise, a national high-tech enterprises, a national special new KEY "little giant" enterprise, and with a postdoctoral research station. In 2009, 2012 and 2017, it won the first prize of national science and technology progress once and the special prize twice. It is a national KEY power equipment manufacturing enterprise and a pioneer in the capacitor industry. The main products are power capacitors and installation devices, UHV AC/DC filters, dry metallized film capacitors, DC link capacitors, capacitor voltage transformers, current transformers, power electronics products, comprehensive solutions for power quality management, etc. it is currently the largest and leading power capacitor R & D and manufacturing center in China.
Guirong company has provincial-level technology center, Guangxi power capacitor Engineering Technology Research Center, R & D test laboratory, and HV test hall, equipped with advanced and complete test and research equipment, of which the test laboratory is the only research base in China's power capacitor industry that can comprehensively study the physical and chemical electrical properties and combined application performance of dielectric materials. Guirong company is the leading production enterprise of various AC and DC power capacitors and other equipment for UHV AC and DC projects in China.
