Guirong‘s Party Building Activities Documentary | Remembering History, Forge Ahead

In order to further strengthen the party spirit education of the company's party members and promote the revolutionary spirit, Guilin Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guirong Company") organized a significant themed party day event on November 23, 2024. All party members of the company, with reverence and admiration for history, embarked on a journey to Guanyang County, Guilin City. The destination of this trip was the Red Army Memorial Park in Jiuhaijing during the Battle of Xiangjiang at Xinxu.

The party members of the company, wearing bright red party emblems on their chests, gathered in front of the Jiuhaijing Red Army Memorial Park in the Xinxu Blockade of the Xiangjiang Campaign, full of energy.

With the vivid narration of the guide, a red journey through time and space has officially begun.

Through the narration of the guide, all party members and comrades of the company have gained a deeper understanding of the historical background, strategic significance, and the brutality and bravery of the Battle of Xiangjiang, as well as the Xinwei Blockade.

In November 1934, during the Battle of Xiangjiang in Guanyang Xinwei, the temporary rescue center of the Red Army was set up in the Jiang Family Ancestral Hall in Xialiwan Village. After the battle, due to the urgent situation, the Red Army was unable to transfer the wounded and sick in a timely manner. The reactionary forces of the Kuomintang, together with local local tyrants and evil gentry, tied up 125 Red Army wounded and sick in the ambulance and cruelly threw them into the underground river of Jiuhai Well, sacrificing all 125 wounded and sick.

In order to commemorate the great victory of the Long March of the Red Army, pay tribute to the great achievements of revolutionary martyrs, and vigorously promote the glorious revolutionary tradition, the Guanyang County Party Committee and County Government raised funds to build the Jiuhaijing Red Army Martyrs Memorial and guardrail, and erected a stone tablet in front of Jiuhaijing to commemorate the "Martyrs' Martyrs' Martyrdom Site".

This period of history is not only a witness to the bravery and blood fighting of the Red Army soldiers under the leadership of the CPC, but also a concentrated reflection of the Chinese nation's indomitable and self-improvement spirit.   

Subsequently, all party members and comrades of the company lined up neatly in front of the Red Army martyrs' tomb, presented flower baskets to the revolutionary martyrs and observed silence, expressing infinite grief and high respect for the martyrs.

Comrade Wang Shibin, Director of the Party Committee Office of the company, led all party members of the company to review the oath of joining the party in front of the party flag. All party members should remember history, not forget their original aspirations, and keep their mission in mind, and devote themselves to work with more enthusiasm and firm beliefs, contributing to the sustainable development of the company and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Under the guidance of the guide, all party members visited the Exhibition Hall of Historical Facts on the Battle of Xinwei and listened to and reviewed the tragic history of the Red Army's bloodshed on the Xiang River and magnificent mountains and rivers. Through precious historical photos, weathered revolutionary relics, and detailed textual explanations, it seems like we are transported back to the era of war, deeply experiencing the enormous sacrifices and unremitting efforts made by revolutionary martyrs for national liberation and people's happiness.

After the visit, party members expressed that this themed party day activity is not only a spiritual baptism, but also a spiritual sublimation. They will continue to carry forward the revolutionary tradition, inherit the red genes, and practice the original aspiration and mission of Communists with practical actions, contributing their wisdom and strength to the development of the company and the progress of society.
